Osaka Airport, officially known as Kansai International Airport (IATA: KIX, ICAO: RJBB), is an international airport located on an artificial island in Osaka Bay, 38 kilometers southwest of Osaka Station, within the municipalities of Izumisano, Sennan and Tajiiri of Osaka prefecture.
The airport is 50 kilometers from Osaka City center. Osaka Kansai International Airport is the main international airport serving the Osaka Prefecture. Do not get confused with Osaka Itami International Airport: Despite its name is just a regional and domestic airport.
Osaka Kansai Airport is a hub for All Nippon Airways, FedEx Express, Japan Airlines, Jetstar Japan, Nippon Cargo Airlines and Peach.
